Jeans for Means Donation – San Antonio Food Bank

Jeans for Means is an incredible employee-funded give back program that was started in 2013. In exchange for wearing jeans on Fridays, L.K. Jordan employees donate $5 from their paycheck into the Jeans for Means fund. Since its inception, L.K. Jordan & Associates has donated over $64,000 to 14 organizations that directly impact and improve our local communities in Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Houston, and Austin, Texas.

Due to the global pandemic and the overall devastating toll that has taken on people living in our communities, our San Antonio has chosen the San Antonio Food Bank as a recipient for our donation. They have been hit especially hard and this money will go immediately towards helping those less advantaged. Founded in 1980, the San Antonio Food Bank has quickly grown to serve 58,000 individuals a week in one of the largest service areas in Texas. Their number one priority is fighting hunger, but they also serve to educate and provide assistance in many other ways. They have a variety of programs and resources available for families, individuals, seniors, children, and military members.

We are incredibly honored that we are able to gift them $6,500 from our generous employees. This is something that they will be able to use immediately and we look forward to continuing this great partnership with them and hope that we can help them again in the future.
